Junior Ranger Booklets

At many National Parks The National Park Service offers Junior Ranger booklets for young visitors to complete during their visit , to learn more about each specific park. Children can earn patches or pins upon completion of the booklet. There are currently 2 Junior Ranger Booklets available for the Fire island National Seashore. One is an overview of the entire Fire Island National Seashore and the second one is about Getting Along with Deer. Both booklets are available at the Fire Island Lighthouse or on-line at http:www.nps.gov/fiis/JuniorRangerBooklet_AllAboutFireIsland

You may either pick up a copy of either booklet at the Fire island Lighthouse or download a copy from the above link. When you have completed the booklet, bring it to any National Seashore site and have it checked to recieve either a pin or a patch - your choice!

Don't forget to ask about Junior Ranger Booklets at other National Parks!
